Dr. T. A. W. Kerr MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr. Thomas “Tim” Kerr retired from active family practice after 35 years in December 2009. He remains an active member of the partnership working two shifts per week in the Day Clinic, and by overseeing the Extracorporeal Shockwave and laser therapies with the Performance Medical Group.
Dr. Kerr was chairman of the Peterborough Clinic for 25 years and was instrumental in the approval and building of the new clinic facility on Hospital Drive.
Dr. Kerr’s professional affliations includes the OMA, CMA, Peterborough County Medical Society, Chair section of Family Practice with the Ontario Medial Association, Founding member council for General Practitioners Economics with the Canadian Medical Association, and previously the Economics Chairperson with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Kerr also volunteered him time as the Warden at St. John’s Anglican Church, and was previously the Honorary Chairperson for the Christmas Hamper Fund.
Dr. Kerr and his wife Elizabeth have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Dr. and Mrs. Kerr have always enjoyed travelling and watching their grandchildren thrive and enjoy life. Tim also loves a round of golf (more so now that he is semi-retired), hiking, bicycling, and jogging.
